Dr. Vandana A. Deshmukh

(HOD Geography Department)

Department of Geography was established in 1946. Postgraduate course was started in 2007 - 2008. Department runs Undergraduate, Postgraduate courses. Till date department has produced many renowned scholars that are working in different fields of the society. Department has its own Library containing text and reference books and volumes of various Journals.

Department has experienced faculties, rich library, well equipped ICT based Class Rooms, computer lab and LAN with broadband internet facility. Meritorious NET / SET qualified students are our strengths. The goal of the department is to make learning easy and create interest in the students. Innovative teaching methodologies incorporated in the regular teaching program helps to develop and maintain students’ interest in Geography like Educational Study Tour, Social - Economical Survey, industrial visits, Quiz, Poster Presentation, Guest lectures, seminar & group discussions.
