The Music Department was established & started Shri Shivaji Arts& Commerce College, Amravati in year 2007. To Provide A proper Knowledge & Practice to a students all the needed instruments & needed guidance was the provided time to time by department with the help of principal of college & society of college in order to enhance the skills of student & to shape their skills & interested in music so the student will be maestro in music of the learning from this department.

A well known & well educated teachers get heired to teach in this department also various social awareness programme means of music was the done by this department in the order to provide the platform to upcoming young talent and to appreciate the students. Various activities had taken from this several years like practice, practical sessions, musical workshops, seminar, learning session, guest lecture, also the life learning skill, like learn & earn to make their student economically self dependent & financially stable. We hope that all these activities & action are helpfull & usefull for the students & department.

Objective of the Department–

• To Enhance interest of students in Music in the Students.
• To develop auditory, reading and writing,singing, capacity of the students for Music.
• To develop a sense of love and social commitment among the students in the nation.
• To encourage the learning skills and literary consciousness among the students.
• To inspire students to spread and promote Indian Classical Music.
